today we learned about log trucks.We learned how to be safe around the trucks and to be careful not to cross the road without the truck driver seeing you. And to wear high vis or have a light to make sure they now your there and wont run you over.I also learnt about what truck drivers do and how they drive huge trucks full of wood. There were also people who showed us and talked about wood and how we use it in our every day life. They told us about how they measure a tree, how many more trees they plant after they cut a tree down and what other jobs they do. They also played a video about keeping yourself safe around trucks.
